Greece is situated at a crossroads: it borders the Mediterranean to the South, the Balkans to the North and Turkey to the East. When I studied abroad in Greece in 2011, I found it to be equal parts chaotic, unpredictable, laidback and beautiful. Though it’s not often thought of as a study abroad destination, Greece is a place where you will really begin to understand the meaning of the phrase ‘living the good life’.
